Boulder opal and diamond pendant with gold chain. Very striking piece of boulder opal neatly crafted into a semi circle, polished and attached to a diamond encrusted 9 karat gold bail. Unusually with double thumb rests, this strainer is decorated with cherubs in the process of tea making and drinking. Full hallmark for London assay by J. G. Piddington c1901 along with foreign silver import letter F. Weight 56 grams.
