Vases

  • Vintage green cloisonné vase with multicoloured blossoms. A pretty cloisonné vase in a racing green base colour with multicoloured blossoms and tiny flecks of white giving an impression of fine mist or rain. Measures 65mm in diameter at base, 95mm at most bulbous and 42mm in diameter at top.
  • Vintage Whitefriars glass vase in Hambone shape. A small, solid and sturdy amber glass vase in hambone shape by Whitefriars. In good condition with minimal signs of wear. c1960s. Measures 48mm by 35mm at base, 90mm at widest, 50mm at deepest and 112mm tall.
  • Vintage sommerso 'blue' vase by Murano. An aesthetically inspired glass vase taking many imaginative forms as any piece of art glass should. The colour combination of blue, amber and clear sommerso glass adds extra wow factor. Measures 46mm by 30mm at base, 125mm at widest, 47mm at deepest and 280mm.
  • A vintage small cloisonné vase. Pretty single cloisonné vase with pink and yellow magnolia flowers and green leaves. All very striking against a black background which is covered in small cloud like motifs giving an impression of height. Measures 50mm in diameter at base, 32mm across the top, 85mm at most bulbous area and 128mm tall.
  • Pair of late 19th early 20th century antique Chinese jars. Lovely pair of famille verte jars in a beautiful blue base colour, decorated on 2 sides with a river scene and finished with gilt floral images. Each vase is hand painted so the scenes are not exactly identical. No markings to base and no lids. Each measures approximately 65mm in diameter at base, 105mm at widest, 52mm at top and 125mm tall.
  • Iridescent pink glass vase from the Art Deco era. Small and pretty iridescent pink vase hand painted with floral design. The flowers are formed of gold and white jewel dots. No markings. Some minor wear of the gilt. Measures 52mm in diameter at base, 55mm across the top and 90mm at widest bulbous area.
  • Pair of lustre ware vases in the form of double gourds. Pretty vases in an orange pink lustre with contrasting light blue interior. Made by Stoke Potteries c1930. Each measures approximately 63mm at base, 34mm at top, 100mm at widest and 195mm tall.
  • Art Nouveau vase by Johann Lötz Witwe. Beautiful lightly iridescent green art glass vase in pentagonal form manufactured in Klostermühle in southwestern Bohemia. Wonderful glass workmanship with fine detail throughout. Measures approximately 80mm in diameter at base, 105mm across the top and 115mm at the most bulbous area.
  • Cobalt blue bubble vase. Interesting signed glass vase in cobalt blue with a bubble effect throughout the design. The bubbles are worked within the glass and vary in size. In addition to the bubbles, there is an overlay of gold and silver leaf around the more bulbous area lower down. The vase is not uniform in shape which is part of its appeal and has a slight wobble. Signed BAS 07 on the base rim. Uneven shape so approximate measurements 185 mm tall, 90mm wide & 90mm deep.
  • Fat lava jug by Marei Keramik. A handsome medium sized jug in glossy red overlaid with black lava by West German pottery company Marei Keramik. Measures 110mm in diameter at base, 45mm at the top, 110mm wide and 100mm deep.
  • Large Moorcroft vase in anemone pattern. A fine quality large vase by Moorcroft in their trademark rich blue colour with anemone flowers in mauves and purples. c1940s-50s. In very good condition. Measures 100mm at base, 85mm at the mouth, 125mm at widest and 255mm tall. Collect from store only.
  • Yellow vase in UFO shape. A bright & cheerful yellow UFO vase with grey black lava overlay by Otto Keramik West Germany. Grey felt on the base and original Otto Keramik sticker to one side.. c1960s. Measures 65mm in diameter at base, 170mm at widest and 35mm at the mouth.
